The Classic Line Balanced to Unbalanced Interconnect is built around a proven studio-derived signal architecture adapted for reliable integration between balanced outputs and unbalanced inputs.

Part of the Prosper Cables Classic Line, this foundational tier focuses on timeless geometry, dependable conductor preparation, and controlled execution. It is engineered to provide stable signal transfer when interfacing balanced equipment with single-ended (RCA) inputs, while maintaining proper grounding and shielding practices.

Each cable is hand-built in Prosper, Texas, with careful attention to conductor preparation, solder integrity, strain relief, and final inspection before leaving the bench.

Build Configuration Note (Important)

These cables are built using a standard balanced-to-unbalanced configuration:

• Pin 2 → RCA tip (signal)
• Pin 1 → RCA sleeve (ground)
• Pin 3 is tied to Pin 1 at the XLR end

This approach is widely used for converting balanced outputs to unbalanced inputs and is designed to maintain proper reference grounding while avoiding floating signal conditions.
